The collaboration brings together Engicon’s multidisciplinary engineering foundation with Ecocentra’s specialized practice, consolidating talent, experience, and institutional knowledge under one dedicated environmental entity. 

Ecocentra’s portfolio includes projects funded by institutions such as the World Bank, United Nations Development Programme, Agence Française de Développement, the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and KfW. This experience reinforces the platform’s alignment with rigorous environmental and social requirements.  

The strengthened structure provides a foundation for expanding technical capacity, growing specialized teams, and advancing service sophistication in response to rising demand for environmental services across the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia. 

This development takes shape through Engicon’s strategic investment in Ecocentra, a regional environmental and social services firm. Ecocentra will operate as an associate company, integrating Engicon’s team and expanding its capacity to support infrastructure and development programs aligned with international standards. 

As advisory and compliance capabilities become increasingly central to project viability and financing, the unified teams enhance the ability of both firms to support clients across the full project lifecycle.   

Ecocentra joins the growing network of specialized firms within the Engicon group of companies, which includes Praxis (architecture and planning) and Engicon O&M (industrial water treatment solutions), strengthening coordinated multidisciplinary support across the region and beyond.
