Engicon O&M, a subsidiary of Engicon, was established in 2007 to extend Engicon’s work from design and supervision into long-term operations and asset management in the water sector. The subsidiary focuses on water and wastewater utilities, pumping stations, and treatment plants, combining operational know-how with the group’s broader engineering capabilities.
Engicon O&M structures performance-based contracts and Build–Operate–Transfer (BOT) models that link its remuneration to measured improvements in energy use, water savings, and environmental compliance. The scale and complexity of our projects continue to grow, adding new skills and know-how to our management and expert teams.
Capacity building is a core part of the subsidiary’s mandate. Engicon O&M has become a certified regional leader in water and wastewater training, offering structured operation and maintenance certification programs across multiple levels and specializations.
The company also invests in digital transformation, integrating SCADA systems and working with technology partners on machine learning tools that help operators run treatment plants more efficiently. These tools support predictive maintenance, reduce chemical and energy consumption, and extend asset life, reinforcing Engicon’s focus on practical, measurable performance improvements.
