Engicon through its subsidiary Engicon O&M was contracted to conduct a training programme specially tailored for engineers and technical staff from the National Water Company (NWC) in Madinah and Tabuk cities, Saudi Arabia. The training programme, which is under the Water and Wastewater Operations and Maintenance covers both theoretical and practical training and include the following topics:

• Operation and maintenance of water systems
• Operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants
• Non-revenue water management
• Smart water distribution systems
• Operation and maintenance of sewer networks
• Planning and design of water distribution systems
• Excellence in Water Systems Maintenance

Around 70-day of training have been conducted and aimed to train more than 20 trainees in each day. The training programme will continue to cover advanced water and wastewater programmes in the next phase.
